Zen West Hollywood
Never having done a project like this before, Kari Whitman was very excited to take on this medical/ recreational marijuana dispensary. Kari did not shy away from Zen just because they’re a dispensary, she instead saw it as a unique opportunity to work on a project different from anything she’s worked on before. Zen West Hollywood was designed with eco-friendliness in mind, featuring a Buddha head centerpiece made of real moss.
The entire design was made to give off a “zen” vibe, focusing on comfort and tranquility throughout the space. She incorporates the Buddha in other places using glass figures, and sets the tone with natural finishes and lots of green to draw the eye.
